SAP acquires Web App Platform Coghead

To not loose ground to Salesforce’s CRM solution and Force.com platform, SAP announced the aquisition of Coghead, a PAAS provider in which SAP had previously invested and which was about to shut down.

Virtual Movable Type : Blogging platform on-demand

Six Apart and JumpBox announce Virtual Movable Type, a virtual version of the Movable Type software,  automatically installing the full power of Movable Type and all necessary infrastructure into a single virtual machine, eliminating the complex task of configuring server applications.

The new service is available on all new Lenovo ThinkPad SL series notebooks, whose owners will benefit from a safe, encrypted and unlimited backup solution. Data are stored “in the cloud” and therefore are available anywhere.
