By making the “cloud” even more accessible, companies such as Google or Amazon, and of course Salesforce ( strangely, the recent Yahoo/Intel/HP initiative is not mentioned in his post), give the power to individuals to innovate, whereas in the Web 1.0 and 2.0 eras, it was only about transaction and participation in a framework design by big players.
